Can One Line Visit All 60 Corners of a Soccer Ball?

BEHIND THE WORK

Can one continuous line visit every corner of a soccer ball exactly once?

A soccer ball has the graph of a truncated icosahedron: 60 vertices connected by 90 edges. A Hamiltonian cycle orders all 60 vertices so the moving point follows real edges, visits every corner once, and returns to its starting point. The dim pentagon-and-hexagon cage remains visible as proof.

Artismathic turns equations into visual art—one function at a time.
