The Impossible 3D Star Knot Hidden Inside One Line

BEHIND THE WORK

Can a single unbroken line tie itself into a flawless 5-pointed 3D star that can never be unraveled? In knot theory, the (5, 2) torus knot—the canonical 5_1 prime knot, historically known as the Cinquefoil or Solomon's celestial seal—is the simplest non-trivial knot with five alternating crossings. Here, twenty-one braided spatial tube ribbons weave through 3D space along its Frenet-Serret frame, forming a radiant neon star medallion with deep over-and-under crossings—traced as a single continuous line with exact 0.000mm closure.
